Who we are

This website is run by Carebrand, which includes our compliance service, Care Quality Geeks. Carebrand is a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is responsible for your personal data.

Our representatives in the UK are Paul Taylor and Sam Barrington, who are based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. For anything about your data, email enquiries@carebrand.co.uk.

What we collect and why

  • Contact and enquiry forms. Your name, email, phone number, organisation, role or town, the service you're interested in and your message. We use them to reply and to talk to you about how we can help. The forms are emailed to our team and a copy is kept on our website.
  • CQC Readiness Check. You don't need to sign up. Your answers are counted anonymously and aren't linked to you. If you ask for your report, we take your name, email, phone number and service name along with your scores. We use them to email your report and 90-day plan, and so our team can offer to talk it through. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • Booking a call. Bookings go through Google Calendar. We get the details you enter, and Google's privacy policy also applies.
  • Emails and calls. If you contact us directly, we keep that correspondence.

We rely on our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us and in running our business. If you become a client, we also rely on our contract with you. We don't sell your data.

Cookies

We use only the cookies the site needs to work, unless you say yes on our cookie bar. If you do, we also load the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. It helps us see how people find our site and whether our adverts work. Your choice is remembered on your device. To change it, clear this site's cookies and the bar will ask again.

Who we share it with

Only the services that help us run things:

  • Our website host, Krystal (UK)
  • Google, which provides our email, calendar bookings and website fonts
  • Meta, but only if you accept cookies

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards approved under UK law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and Readiness Check report details for up to 2 years after we last heard from you. Client records are kept for as long as we work together plus 6 years, for accounting and legal reasons.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of your data
  • correct it or delete it
  • limit how we use it, or stop using it
  • pass it to another organisation

You can also object to how we use it, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Email enquiries@carebrand.co.uk and we'll respond within one month.

Complaints

If you're unhappy, please tell us first. We'll acknowledge your complaint within 30 days. You can also complain to the Information Commission (formerly the ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If anything changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
